KUPWARA An army man was killed after the armies of India and Pakistan traded heavy fire and shelling along the Line of Control (LoC) in Machil sector of north Kashmirs Kupwara district on Thursday.
Ceasefire Violation (CFV) by Pakistan in Machil Sector of Kupwara district at around 1045 hours today, Srinagar-based defense spokesman in a statement said.
Own troops retaliated strongly. One soldier killed in enemy fire, an army spokesman said.
