SRINAGAR A girl was injured in a shootout in Khudwani area in south Kashmir’s Kulgam district,on Thursday, official sources said.
They said militants fired towards army camp at Khudwani in Kulgam district in the wee hours today.
Alert forces also retaliated ensuing in a brief encounter, they said.
A girl, identified as Muskan, resident of Wanigund, was injured after being hit by a stray bullet.
The injured was rushed to hospital at Qaimoh, they said, adding that the entire area has been cordoned off and a massive hunt has been launched to nab the militants
