We the aspirants for the Integrated PhD program in various Departments of the Kashmir University appeal to the Vice-Chancellor to please intervene and save our careers.
We have qualified NET, NET-JRF and SET exams two years back and are since awaiting PhD selection at the University. It is tragic that Kashmir University has not admitted any student for PhD program in any Department since the last two years while as other Universities in the state have made two PhD admissions during these two years putting us to great loss and disadvantage.
Despite our repeated petitions to the University authorities, we are being tossed from Departments to the Administration with no relief in sight for us. We therefore earnestly request the Vice-Chancellor, Kashmir University to kindly intervene in the matter so that the selection, pending for the last two years, is finalized at the earliest and we could start our much-awaited PhD research programs.
