SRINAGAR Jammu and Kashmir State Disaster Management Authority (JKSDMA) today organized a state level mock drill on disaster preparedness at Amar Singh Club, here.
The drill was held in collaboration with NDMA, SDRF, JTFRP and Institution of Engineers which was participated by volunteers from SDRF, Civil Defence, NDRF, CRPF, J&K Police, SMC PHE, PDD, R&B, Police Telecommunication, and Fire and Emergency Services.
The programme was held under the supervision of Director Disaster Management Aamir Ali.
More than 350 participants took part in the disaster management exercises conducted to test the preparedness of the various responders. Another follow up State level drill has been planned at Jammu in December.
