GANDERBAL Central University of Kashmir (CUK) started its academic activities at its own campus at Tulmulla here and in this connection a formal function Praevesh (The Home Coming) was organized by the students of Department of Information Technology on Thursday.
Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Mehraj ud Din Mir, Registrar, Prof. Fayaz A. Nika, Controller of Examination Dr. Parveen Pandit and other officers of the university attended the function and congratulated the students and faculty for being the first department of the CUK to shift to its own permanent campus.
Addressed the gathering, Prof. Mehraj ud Din Mir advised the students to devote their full time towards studies and fulfil the dreams and aspirations of their parents and guardians to not only become thorough professionals but also bring laurels to the university and to the society.
Registrar, Prof. Fayaz Ahmad Nika, complimented the Department of IT for becoming the first Department of University to start its academic activities both at transit campus (Sonwar), during the establishment of the university and now at the permanent Campus at Tulmulla.
