Major Reshuffle in J&K Police Ahead of Polls

SRINAGAR The government on Monday ordered transfer of 23 police officers in the interest of administration.

According to an order by states Home department, Rahul Malik, IPS (JK: 2009), Commandant, IRP 7th Battalion is transferred and posted as SSP (Security) J&K vice Mohammad Yousuf

Amritpal Singh, IPS (JK: 2014) SP, PC, Anantnag is transferred and posted as SP (North) Jammu against an available vacancy.

Ranjit Kanwar, Principal, PTS, Kathua is transferred and posted as SO to ADGP HGICD/SDRF, J&K vice Sunil Raj.

Mohammad Yousuf Shah, SSP, Security (Hqrs), J&K is transferred and posted as SSP Security, Civil Secretariat.

Manzoor Ahmad Dalal, SSP, AHJ, Srinagar is transferred and posted as Commandant, JKAP 9th Battalion. Manjit Kour, Deputy Commandant, IR-15th Battalion is posted as Commandant IR-15th Battalion against available vacancy.

Arun Gupta, Addl. SP Kargil is transferred and posted as Principal, PTS, Kathua vice Ranjit Kanwar.

Tahir Saleem Khan under orders of transfer as SSP (HR) CID Hqrs is posted as SSP, AHJ, Srinagar vice Manzoor Ahmad Dalal.

Sandeep Kumar Mehta, Addl. SP, Security, Jammu is transferred and posted as SP, PC Jammu vice Vinay Kumar.

Mohammad Yousuf, Addl. SP, Rajouri is transferred and posted as Addl. SP, Baramulla against an available vacancy.
