BARAMULLA A day after the body of a minor missing girl was recovered from Boniyar forest area of North Kashmirs Baramulla district, local on Monday staged a protest and blocked the road demanding arrest of culprits involved in the heinous crime.
Reports said that a large number of locals from Boniyar Uri and its adjacent areas assembled at Boniyar and blocked Uri-Baramulla road. The protesters demanded the arrest of culprits involved in the brutal murder of Muskan of Trikanjan Uri whose dead body was found in nearby forest area after 10 days.
The minor girl identified as Muskan Jan (9), had gone missing from her home in Boniyar on August 23. After ten days, Muskans body was spotted in the Trikanjan forests on Sunday morning.
A police official said that they have already registered an FIR in this regard and investigation on speedy basis is in progress.
