JAMMU The Jammu and Kashmir government has issued notices for termination of services to 41 contractual employees of MGNREGA, who are on strike, in Kishtwar district of the state.
The district administration, Kishtwar has served termination notices to 41 MGNREGA contractual employees presently on strike, an official spokesman said.
They have been asked to join duties within two days failing which orders regarding termination of their services shall follow, he said.
“In the notice terms and conditions of their employment which is purely contractual and need based in nature have been duly mentioned,” the spokesman said.
He said the poor performance reported under different parameters and indicators under the scheme have also been laid down in termination notices issued by the Assistent Commisioner Development (ACD). (PTI)
