SRINAGAR Jammu and Kashmir Police on Monday claimed to busted a Jaish-e-Muhammad module by arresting three hardcore active members of the organization during checking in Haritar and Yarbugh area of Rafiabad in north Kashmirs Baramulla district.
Acting on a credible input, a joint team of forces laid a naka at Haritar area today. During checking, a suspicious person was apprehended and during preliminary questioning, he revealed his identity as Bilal Ahmad Kaloo son of Ab Rehman Kaloo resident of Takiabal Sopore, said a spokesman.
He is an active member of JeM. Two grenades, a matrix sheet of JeM outfit were recovered from his possession. In this regard a case FIR number 65/2018 under section 7/25 A. Act, 13 ULA Act, has been registered in Police Station Tarzoo and investigation has been taken up.
Two more active members of JeM outfit were apprehended by Sopore Police with the assistance of security forces during naka checking at Yarbugh Rafiabad, said the spokesman. They were identified as Asif Sheikh son of Ghulam Qadir Sheikh and Abdul Majeed Mir son of Ghulam Ahmad Mir, both residents of Yarbugh Rafiabad.
A hand grenade, four rounds of AK47 and two Matrix sheets of JeM outfit were recovered from their possession. A case FIR number 92/2018 under section 7/25 A. Act, 13 ULA Act has been registered in Police Station Dangiwacha and investigation has been taken up.
