SRINAGAR Militants on Monday attacked an army camp in Bounra village of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
A police official said that the militants fired a grenade at the army camp housing 55 RR in Bounra village at around 6: 20 pm, adding there was no immediate report of any loss to life.
Soon after the attack, he said, the forces cordoned off the area to nab the attackers.
Meanwhile, militant outfit Jaish-e-Mohammad has claimed the grenade attack on army.
In a statement issued here, a spokesman of the outfit said that its cadres carried out the grenade attack on an army camp at Bounra in which a number of army troopers were injured.
