SRINAGAR Srinagar Police have arrested two hospital employees for misappropriating the Government supply medicines and later on selling them to some medical shopkeepers.
A spokesperson said that police station Rainawari received information that two employees at JLNM hospital Rainawari are selling hospital medicines to some private medical shopkeepers.
A formal case vide FIR number 47/18 under section 409 was registered and during the investigation two hospital employees admitted their guilt. Foru boxes of Metoclopramide injection were recovered from them. Both the employees have been arrested, he said.
The police official identified the arrested employees as Pharmacist Shakeel Ahmad Shahid of Housing Colony Bemina and Bashir Ahmed, a resident of Khanpora Beerwah.
Further investigation of the case is going on and further arrests are expected in the case. (CNS)
