MECCA A Bangladesh man died after committing suicide at the Makkah’s Grand Mosque.
The man jumped off the roof of the Grand Mosque and died on spot while worshippers were circumambulating at the holy site.
According to the Daily Times, an elderly Sudanese man was seriously injured as the man fell on him. The incident was reported on June 16.
According to the authorities, the incident was a suicide rather than an accident as the closed- circuit television (CCTV) footage clearly shows that the man jumped off the roof.
On June 9, a Frenchman jumped to death at the holy site.
