ANANTNAG Condemning the killing of veteran Journalist Shujat Bukhari by unknown gunmen, Anantnag Working Journalists Association (AWJA) has termed his killing a big loss for journalism in Kashmir.
Paying rich tributes to Shujat Bukhari AWJA has expressed sympathies with the bereaved family and journalist fraternity of Kashmir. AWJA has termed the killing very unfortunate and one more black chapter in the history of Kashmir.
AWJA states that Shujaat was the symbol of brave and courageous Journalism who has always talked on behalf of the rights of people of Kashmir. As per statement of AWJA Shujaat had always a stand for Kashmir issue and was favouring the resolution of Kashmir issue through dialogue.
In this hour of grief, AWJA stands for all those who have lost a mentor, father and a good human being in the shape of Shujaat Bukhari.
