Srinagar Two paramilitary CRPF men including an officer were injured in stone pelting in Sopore area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Sunday.
Official sources said that two CRPF personnel suffered injuries after hit by stones during clashes near Main Bazar Sopore
A CRPF officer told GNS that two of the paramilitary personnel were injured due to stone pelting and he identified them as constable Padala Ramu of 179 bn and ASI Ganga Dhar of 177 bn.
One of the seriously injured personnel Padala having head injury has been admitted at army’s 92 base hospital Badamibagh, Srinagar, the officer said.
SSP Sopore Javid Iqbal told GNS that video footage has been procured and identifications are being done to identify the youth who pelted stones on CRPF.
He said that a case has been already registered and further investigations are underway.
