SrinagarOn a day-long visit to the Valley Governor N.N. Vohra had a series of meetings with senior echelons in the security management apparatus as well with Dineshwar Sharma, Government of Indias Special Representative for Dialogue in J&K.
(Vohra and Sharma) discussed the security situation since the beginning of this year and the steps required for maintaining peace and normalcy, an official spokesman said .
Vohra also had discussions about the present and emerging security environment with Swayam Prakash Pani, IGP Kashmir, Zulfikar Hassan, IG CRPF Kashmir and Baseer Ahmed Khan, Divisional Commissioner Kashmir.
