We would like to draw the kind attention of our Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti, honourable Education Minister Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari, MOS, Education and all the able ministers in the Cabinet, Commissioner Secretary School Education and Directors of School Education Jammu & Kashmir towards a very urgent issue affecting the daily life of hundreds of female teachers.
I request worthy ministers and officials to kindly frame a transfer policy for those female RRT’S who are married outside their Districs and are not able to live with their husbands. Our marital life is badly affected and our families particularly children are suffering because we can not stay with them due to time consumed in traveling.
Please have a symphathic & emphathic view and do something in this regard as this situation is having a very telling and negative affect on our family life and we can not discharge our responsibilities properly, neither at our work places nor at home due to disturbed state of mind.
Ms Mehbooba being a woman herself is expected to take cognisance and help free us from the agony.
Nighat Tahir
Baramulla, Kmr,
On behalf of all female RRTs of J&K State
