Srinagar: An all-round brilliance from Mudasir Abass powered FCC Budgam to a crushing victory over Mehraj-XI Sebdan in the first match of the day in Budgam T20 Super League on Friday.
Mudasir slammed a brilliant 85 not out as FCC Budgam amassed a score of 213 for the loss of two wickets in the alloted 20 overs. He was able supported by Imtiyaz who contributed 69.
In reply Mehraj XI Sebdan were bundled out for 138 runs. Ishfaq Ahmad was the only substantial scorer making 35. For the bowling side, Umar scalped a five-wciket haul while Mudasir Abbas snared three wickets. Mudasir Abass for his all-round performance was awarded as man of the match.
HCC Humhama outplayed Bhai Jaan-XI Chadoora in the second match of the day as they achieved required target of 157 runs in just ten overs for the loss of three wickets.
Batting first Bhai Jaan-XI Chadoora managed a score of 157 allout in 19.4 overs. Altaf with 31 and Bilal with 29 runs were the top scorers for them.
Zahid and Abid took two wickets each for HCC.
In reply HCC Humhama achieved target in only 10 overs. Ajaz with 88 was highest scorer for them while as Junaid Khan scored 35.
