SrinagarSajid Ali starred with both bat and ball to power his side LCC Labertal to an easy win against Master-XI Ompora in their Budgam Super League 2018 fixture played at Sports Stadium Budgam on Monday.
Thanks to half centuries from Sajid and Shabir, LCC Labertal managed to post a score of 176 for the loss of eight wickets in the allotted 20 overs. Sajid made 53 while Shabir contributed a solid 51 to the total. Zahid Rasool, Aqib and Amir took a brace of wickets each for Master XI Ompora.
Master XI Omporas chase never got going Sajid Ali scything their batting lineup to have them bundled out for 121. Sajid after shining with the bat played a crucial role in defending the target taking four wickets for LCC Labertal. Zahid Rasool played a fighting knock of 55 but ended up in a losing side as none his teammates provided him any support.
Sajid Ali for his all round performance was adjudged man of the match.
