Srinagar: Kashmir Finance Minister, Dr Haseeb Drabu left for UAE on Sunday to attend the India-UAE Partnership Summit (IUPS) to be held in Dubai on 30/31 October 2017
The Summit is being jointly organized by the Embassy of India, Abu Dhabi, Consulate General of India, Dubai and UAE-based premium business body Business Leaders’ Forum (BLF).
Around 800 top businessmen, Ministers, officials, investors and academics from both India and UAE are attending the summit with the objective of significantly enhancing investments from UAE to India.
The summit will focus on key areas of strategic partnership, investments-implementation and travel and tourism sector.
Drabu is scheduled to speak on investment opportunities in Jammu and Kashmir in the session on J&K: Investing in Peace, Prosperity and Development.
“Among the main opportunities, I will showcase and discuss with potential investors the projects including Dry Port, Medi-City, Entertainment Theme Park, Cold Chain, Agricultural Infrastructure, Sports City and Educational City in J&K, Dr Drabu said.
