SrinagarHurriyat Conference (G) expressed deep concern over the plight of Kashmiri pro-freedom prisoners, lodged in detention centres in and outside Kashmir and said that the political prisoners were for no reason implicated in fake cases.
Hailing the meritorious services and sacrifices rendered by prisoners said that they created laudable history and we salute them for their steadfastness, persistence & commitment.
Their commitment and exemplary bravery will certainly rejuvenate movement and infuse new sprits among young generation, said Hurriyat (G).
In an appeal to ICRC, Amnesty International and international organization for human rights, Hurriyat Conference impressed to take their cognizance and use influence for immediate release of all detainees and make India accountable for treating these prisoners as per human values.
Meanwhile Hurriyat (M) has also expressed serious concern over the plight of Kashmiri prisoners lodged in various prisons in and outside the J&K, APHC spokesman said that in absence of basic facilities including medical care, majority of resistance leaders and activists lodged in various prisons are facing tough time.
The spokesman said that the jail authorities are even depriving these inmates from being produced before the required courts for hearing in their cases. He said that it is height of oppression that family members of most of the inmates are denied meetings with them.
