SrinagarA man was shot and injured by unidentified gunmen in Kellar area of Shopian district today evening.
A police official said that a man identified as Muhammad Maqbool Bhat alias Magge Khan, resident of Battmurran village of Kellar area of Shopian distrct was fired upon by suspected militants near his house.
The official said that the man sustained bullet wounds in his leg and was rushed to nearby hospital where his condition is stated to be out of danger. Soon after the incident, government forces rushed to the spot and launched manhunt to nab the attackers.
