KokernagIndian army’s 19 RR organised a festival “jashn-e- breng” at kokernag Anantnag, today. The aim of this festival was to promote the tourism of Jammu and Kashmir
On the occasion some specially disabled persons were provided with wheel chairs and other useful gadgets
Students and local residents from various areas of Anantnag district participated in this festival
While as Students performed several cultural programmes. Mla kokernag, Ab. Rahim Rather, GOC victor force B.S Raju, Commander 2 sec RR,CO 19RR colonel Dharmaindar, DC Anantnag, Mohd Younis Malik, SSP Anantnag and Sdm Kokarnag were also present
Talking to media, GOC victor force BS Raju Said” that the reasons behind organising these kind of festivals is to promote the tourism of kashmir valley and to bring the peace and harmony back to kashmir. About braid chopping he said that J&k police are making every possible efforts to nab the culprits behind the braid chopping and we are providing every possible help to them. while reacting to a question about Operation all out GOC, B.S Raju Said that we are putting every possible effort to make operation all out a success so that people of kashmir can live peacefully. He said army will try to organize many festivals so that youth can be inclined towards better career options.
