BudgamTwo unknown persons looted a Budgam resident at a knife point in a broad day light in Barzulla area of Srinagar on Thursday.
A middle-aged person Niyaz Ahmad (name changed) was walking to board bus near Barzulla bridge, where two knife-wielded persons got hold of him and took away Rs 8.5 thousand from him
“A white coloured Maruti car stopped in front of me. A person who was sitting at back seat opened window and asked me the way to Nowgam railway station. As I was explaining the shortest route to them, they suddenly dragged me inside their car,” Ahmad said.
According to Ahmad one knife wielded person got hold of him and directed him to hand over money to him. I handed over Rs 8.5 thousand to him, as I feared for my life, Ahmad said
Neither I contacted police nor I took registration number of that car as my mind didn’t work,” Ahmad said.
