SrinagarA young Kashmiri student from Jammu University was selected for Summer Internship with Grameen Bank, Bangladesh under the guidance of Nobel Laureate Professor Muhammad Yunus in Yunus Centre Bangladesh.
Takrar HassanYattoo, a resident of Tangmarg area of North Kashmir was one of the participants from over 35 nations to be a part of the prestigious Yunus Centre Internship Programme.
Takrar is currently pursing International Business at International Centre for Cross Cultural Research and Human Resource Management, University Of Jammu
Being the global knowledge hub of social business incubation Yunus Centre aims to involve brilliant young minds from over the world to study the concept of social Business.
He was the only student representing from the country.
Takrar also pledged to work for the UN sustainable development program for which he was presented with the badge at the annual Social Business Day Dhaka by Thomas Gass(United Nations Assistant Secretary-General for Policy Coordination and Inter-Agency Affairs).
