SrinagarA student is no more required to submit affidavit along with testimonials at the time of submitting admission or examination forms. Neither any person requires to file the affidavit for obtaining revenue records nor an employee for drawal of general provident fund as government on Friday abolished such requirement in respect of 51 services.
The decision to do away with the requirement of filling the affidavit regarding the 51 services was taken at a cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti on Tuesday and a formal order was issued here on Saturday.
The government has also directed the concerned administrative departments to carry amendments in the relevant acts and rules as may be required for abolition of the affidavits which were earlier required to be submitted by people while seeking or accessing the 51 services from the government departments and organizations.
The 51 services which have exempted for the purview of having the affidavit include for registration of Cooperative Societies; in issuing NDCs of retiring officers or officials; testimonials produced by students at the time of submitting admission or examination forms or migrating from one college or course to another; genuineness of resident or category or caste certificates; provisional admission, drawal of advance or final payment of G.P. Fund; in support of the averments of a complaint; in support of application for issuance of duplicate marks sheets; diploma or degree certificates; in support of application for rectification of name, date of birth, etc; in support of category certificates; fresh registration of vehicle; endorsement of hypothecation of vehicle; cancellation of hypothecation of vehicle; for replacement of vehicle; for depositing route permit; for issuance of route permits; for cancellation of Registration Certificate of vehicle; for issuance of Letter of Authority for purchase of vehicle; for certificate of residence; for registrations of births and deaths; for rectification or amendments in Death and Birth Certificates; for preparation of Ward Certificates; for provisions for sanitary arrangements in Commercial Estates in building permissions; for parking permission in commercial buildings; for self-removal of un-authorized constructions; for NOC for non-residential certificates within the town; for entrance examinations; in support of applications; for admission to institutions, for Registration of NGOs; for grant of provisional admission in the 11th and 12th standards to students who migrate from other Boards to BOSE eligibility; for improvement of division in Class 12th; for duplicate Inter-State Migration Certificate; for appearing in any examination after having left a certain session in between; regarding inter-province or inter-district transfers; for pursuing higher studies or research work by in-service teachers or lecturers; regarding reimbursement of medical claims; from unemployed engineers who apply for registration of self-help group; from a person or persons who approach for registration of self-help group(s); from educated unemployed youths for establishment of dairy, poultry, sheep, fisheries units under Self Employment Scheme(s); regarding proprietorship of the land/factory / establishment while registering a factory; for NOC from Employment Department at the time of joining Government services; for grant of non-refundable advance for purchase/construction of house; for voluntary registration under J&K Provident Fund Act/Scheme, 1961; for stating settlement of P.F. dues in case the employer fails to provide details of P.F. deduction in form 19-A; required for availing benefits under PMAY/IAY, Swach Bharat Mission, Contractual appointments, NRLM/SRLM, from donors of land (Panchayat Ghars, Community Halls, Roads); for Car/Scooter Advance at the time of superannuation; for obtaining reserved category certificate, for obtaining dependent certificate and for obtaining income certificate, Fard Intikhabs, extract of Girdwari, extract of Jamabandi, attestation of mutation, inheritance mutation, copy of mutation, demarcation of land and Tatimat Shaira.
