SoporeLife returned to normal after remaining paralysed due to restrictions since September 27 in apple township of Sopore in this north Kashmir district.
Shops and business establishments reopened this morning and traffic was also plying normally on all routes as security forces had removed all road blocks and barbed wire.
Longest surviving militant Abdul Qayoum Najar was killed in an encounter with government forces near Line of Control in Boniyar Uri sector on September 27
Authorities imposed restrictions under Section 144 CrPC in the main town to prevent any demonstration while elsewhere in the Sopore people observed strike against the killing of Najar.
