SrinagarTo develop the entrepreneurship and startup culture among the youth of the state, Innovation Incubation Entrepreneurship Development Center (IIEDC) of National Institute of Technology (NIT) Srinagar in association with Startup Kashmir is organising IDEA CHALLENGE 2017 -The future world.
The event will be held at the Recreation Centre, NIT Srinagar on 2nd October 2017 at 10:00 and will continue till 4:00 pm. This event is the first of its kind in the state wherein the students from various colleges and universities across the state will participate in the Idea Challenge event.
The main objective of the event is to provide a platform for young thinkers and innovators across Valley to showcase their unique ideas before a bench of experienced innovators and entrepreneurs so that their ideas may be given the right direction and changed into concrete reality. The aim is to develop the Entrepreneurship and Startup culture among the youth of the state.
An evaluation process by experts and experienced entrepreneurs will filter out the top 10 entries to be invited to NIT Srinagar where the First, Second and Third prize winners will be decided. A sum of Rs.10000 will be awarded to the first prize winner, followed by Rs.8000 and Rs.5000 for the second and third prize winners respectively. In addition to this, participation certificates and mementos will be distributed among the participants.
