SrinagarA civilian injured in Tral grenade blast succumbed at SK Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS) Soura on Wednesday, taking the civilian toll to three.
The deceased, Mushtaq Ahmed Sheikh (35), was a father of two minor sons.
He was grievously injured in the blast following which he was shifted to SKIMS.
Two civilians were killed and 35 others, including seven CRPF troopers, injured in the attack on the cavalcade of Works Minister Naeem Akhtar on September 21 in Tral area of Pulwama district in south Kashmir.
Sheikh, a salesman at a grocery store at Bus Stand Tral, was at work when the attack took place.
As the news of his death spread, shopkeepers downed their shutters and traffic went off the roads at Bus Stand Tral.
Meanwhile large number of people from different areas of Tral attended the funeral prayers of Mushtaq at Eidgah Tral .
The deceased was laid to rest at his ancestral graveyard at downtown Tral amid pro-freedom and anti-government slogans.
