SrinagarInjured civilians from Tral recuperating at SMHS Hospital here say that the government forces, including Central Reserved Police Force (C.R.P.F) and J&K Police fired Indiscriminately after the grenade attack.
A shopkeeper who is admitted in ward 16 of SMHS said that he was inside his shop when some unknown person hurled the grenade at around 11:45 am.
There was a loud bang. Such was its impact that I fell down, said Manzoor Ahmad Reshi adding, the security forces took their position inside my shop and started firing indiscriminately. Reshi has injuries in the leg, left arm and abdomen.
I was on the way home and reached near the bus stand when grenade attack took place. Moments later I noticed blood oozing out of my legs. There was no one to help me, The government forces deployed their started firing in panic. I thought it was my last day of life but thank God I am alive, said another injured civilian who wished to remain anonymous.
At least two civilians were killed and around 30 were injured after some unknown persons tossed a grenade in Bus stand Tral on Tuesday afternoon.
The attack took place when R&B Minister, Nayeem Akthar was visiting the area to inaugurate a developmental project.
