ShopianTwo youth were found dead under mysterious circumstances in an apple orchard in Shopian district on Tuesday.
The deceased were identified as Mohammad Athar (17) and Umar Sohail (20), hailing from Darhal area of Rajouri district, about 130 kms from the site where their bodies were found.
The bodies were found in an apple orchard in Palpora village of Shopian this morning, a police official said.
He said there were no injury or torture marks on the bodies, which have been sent for postmortem.
Preliminary investigation suggests possibility of drug overdose as some syringes and powdery substance were recovered from the deceased, the official said.
A case has been registered and probe started, he said.
