ShopianDeputy Commissioner Shopian, Mohammad Aijaz, Monday chaired a District Level Screening Cum Coordination (DLSCC) committee meeting here during which 09 cases were placed before the committee.
The meeting discussed nine cases for SRO-43. After threadbare deliberations, the committee unanimously agreed to approve the eligible SRO-43 cases, wherein ex-gratia relief was sanctioned for nine cases where victims were either killed or missing for more than ten years.
On the occasion, the Deputy Commissioner said that time-bound clearance of the cases would play a pivotal role in reinforcing the faith of affected families in the Government.
Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Additional Superintendent of Police, Commandant CRPF and representatives from Army and Paramilitary Forces participated in the meeting.
