RajouriSeven members of a family, including three children, were killed when their vehicle skidded off the road and rolled down into a river in hilly Rajouri district on Monday, the police said.
The Maruti Alto car was coming to Rajouri from Jammu when its driver Mehmood Ahmed lost control in the Narian area at round 5.00 PM, Senior Superintendent of Police, Rajouri, Yougal Manhas said.
He said that all the seven belonged to a single family. He identified the deceased as Mehmood Ahmed s/o Jaffer Ali, Abdul Aziz s/o Jaffer Ali, Ather Begum d/o Jaffer Ali, Jameela w/o Mehmood Ahmed, Rehan s/o Mehmood Ahmed, Hasnain s/o Mehmood Ahmed, Alisha d/o Mehmood Ahmed. (CNS)
