SrinagarProfessor, Management Studies, Prof. Abdul Gani Saturday took over as Director Research and Development (R&D) Central University of Kashmir (CUK) vide a notification issued by the Registrar.
Besides this, Prof. N A Nadeem of Education, Prof. G M Bhat of Economics and Prof. M Nayyar Azim were also nominated as Directors of various campuses of the varsity in addition to their own responsibilities. Prof. S Fayyaz has also been nominated as Director, Curriculum Development.
Various other faculty members have also been assigned additional administrative assignments for the smooth functioning of the university.
Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Mehraj ud Din Mir and Registrar, Prof M Afzal Zargar later held an interactive meet with the newly nominated Directors.
Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Mehraj ud Din Mir and Registrar, Prof, M Afzal Zargar also interacted with research scholars and discussed the issues and problems confronting them. Prof. Mir impressed upon the research scholars to conduct quality research and publish their findings in reputed journals.
