Srinagar: Calling the present situation in Kashmir a cause of great concern, Anjuman-e-Auqaf Jamia Masjid Srinagar said that our society is grappling with serious issues and we are faced with grave threats. The people of Kashmir need to turn back towards Allah and ask him for forgiveness.
In this time of turmoil, when political, religious and social challenges have engulfed us it is essential that we ask Allah to relieve us of these burdens and give us the strength and patience to overcome these challenges.
Keeping this in view, APHC Chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq has urged the people to offer congregational prayers at Jamia Masjid Srinagar on coming Friday Aug 25,where special prayers for Touba-e-Istegfaar will be held to ask Almighty Allah for repentance. Mirwaiz has urged people to attend these prayers in large numbers to ensure its acceptance.
