KupwaraOne person was killed and four others were injured when one wall of a mosque fell down during its dismantling at Lolab area of Kupwara in north Kashmir.
Reports and eyewitnesses said that locals of Mir Mohalla were dismantling the mosque when one of its walls collapsed. Five persons got trapped and they taken out from the debris and immediately removed to nearby hospital where one of them was declared brought dead.
The deceased has been identified as Muzaffar Ahmad Mir son of Habibullah Mir.
All other four injured have been admitted and are being presently under treatment at the hospital.
SHO, Kuligam while confirming the death said that they are investigating the incident. (GNS)
