AwantiporaAs a part of inviting world renowned academic and research personalities to IUST, Prof. Omar M. Ramahi, Professor of Electrical & Computer Engineering, University of Waterloo, Canada visited Islamic University of Science and Technology (IUST) on Wednesday, 9th August 2017 and delivered an invited lecture on Electrically-Small Resonators as the Lego of Electromagnetic Systems to the students of School of Technology.
Prof. Ramahi also conducted a workshop on Effective and Meaningful University-Industry Collaboration in which faculty from various Departments/Schools of the university participated. He reflected on both the challenges and roadmap for successful industry-academic collaboration in the better interest of the society. Both lecture and workshop were followed by a vibrant and fruitful question & answer session.
Later on, Prof. Ramahi also had a detailed interaction with Prof. Mushtaq A. Siddiqi-Vice Chancellor and Prof. Mushtaq A. Qurishi- Dean Academic Affairs of the varsity. Prof. Ramahi lauded the efforts of the whole IUST family for working towards the overall development of the university and assured his full support wherever needed.
