TralA complete shutdown was observed in Tral sub division of South Kashmirs Pulwama district for the sixth consecutive day on Friday, to protest against the back to back killing of militants and civilians in different encounters, took place from last one week, in the region.
Soon after the news about the killing of a militant Yawar Nisar Wagay and a civilian in Kanalwan area of Bijbehara Anantnag, reached to Tral sub division , Whole market wore a deserted look as all the shops closed and traffic went off the roads in the area, which marked the shutdown on sixth consecutive day.
However , The sub division is witnessing continuous shutdown since Sunday, after the killing of two militants at Tahab village of Pulwama, who were belonging to the Hizbul Mujahideen outfit.
Due to the shutdown in the area , all the shops, educational institutions, and other business establishments remain closed while traffic was off the roads.
Eye witnessed told Kashmir Observer that soon after the friday prayers today , a group of youth pelted stones on forces near Tehsil office but the situation remained normal after the incident as forces chased and disperse the protesters.
Meanwhile , 3G and 4G services continued to remain blocked in the area , which is giving tough time to the customers of different telecommunication companies.
