SrinagarClashes erupted between protesters and Government forces on Monday in Keller area of Shopian in south Kashmir after forces launched search operation in the area.
Sources said hat following specific information about presence of militants in village Batpora in Keller, a joint search operation was launched by Special Operations Group (SOG) of state police and Army in the area.
Immediately after the cordon locals of the area took to streets and pelted stones on forces who retaliated with teargas shelling to disperse the protesters.
