SrinagarMoomin Ayoub Sheikh of B.Com 4th Semester Saturday won Annual Road Race held by Abdul Ahad Azad Memorial Degree College Bemina Srinagar. The race, according to the statement issued by the college, saw participation of around 80 students with Moomin steering past his opponents to bag the title.
The statement said that Principal of the College Prof. (Dr) Yasmin Kawoos flagged off the race at Nehru Park at 6:15 am with Nishat being its finishing line.
Shahid Rasool Wani of BA 1st Semester impressed one and all managing to hold on to the second position. The 3rd spot went to BA 1st semesters Mohammad Shaban Ganie.
The race was coordinated by convener/co-convener sports committee and Physical Education Department of the college.
