SrinagarExpressing serious concern over the allegations levelled by Lashkar-e-Taiba regarding use of chemical and other deadly weapons in Kashmir and mutilating of bodies of militants and civilians by the Indian forces, independent MLA Engineer Rashid has asked government to come clean on the issue.
In a statement issued today Engineer Rashid said that in different parts of Kashmir, especially the south, the mutilated bodies of militants are being found and then spread on social media which by all means deserves immediate attention and condemnation.
He said, There is no dispute over the fact that while all international laws and conventions ensure due respect to dead bodies irrespective of their ideologies and circumstances they get killed, it is duty of the state to tell the truth. Once someone is dead the animosity has to go.
The mutilation of bodies is something which Kashmiris have been witnessing since long but the charges levelled by LeT regarding use of chemical weapons are something that can be ignored.
Er Rashid also condemned the harsh and aggressive designs being expressed by Indian and Israeli Prime Ministers during Narendra Modis visit to Israel.
Er Rashid said, while after about almost three decades India is breaking all the previous traditions to hug Israels, the perception of so called Islamic terrorism and the cries of India and Israel being the victims of terrorism are nothing but an attempt to divert the attention from the burning issues of Palestine and Kashmir.
While India had already been in nexus with Israeli since long, the Modis visit and revelations made have unmasked Indias stand on Palestine and its false sympathy towards Muslims.
