Srinagar: Takmeel Majeed Ganie, son of Abdul Majeed was crushed to death by train in Pattan in north Kashmirs Baramulla district on Saturday, sources said.
They said that 13 year old Takmeel, a student of eighth standard was virtually cut into two pieces after train ran over him at Buran village.
Reports quoting officials said that Takmeel was moving on the railway track along with his cow when a speeding train arrived there.
Takmeel tried to run to safety but could not pull the cow along. The death created a pall of gloom in entire area.
