Awantipur: Two students of Islamic University of Science and Technology, Awantipur, were injured on Friday in a minor explosion at the Chemistry Lab of the University, in South Kashmir.
Eye witnessed told Kashmir Observer, that the incident happened at about 12pm on Friday , when the students were doing experiments on chemicals, in Chemistry laboratory.
Soon after the incident both the injured students were rushed to the Awantipur Hospital for treatment, where from one was referred to Srinagar.
According to reports, a group of students were conducting some experiments in the chemistry lab as a part of their practical class , when this explosion took place.
Both the injured students were girls, whose names were not immediately known.
