SrinagarLucky Boys Humhama and Kirmani XI recorded easy victories in their respective fixtures of Shaheed Aga Syed Mehdi Memorial T-20 Cricket Tournament 2017 played at Budgam Sports Stadium on Thursday.
In the first game of the day, Lucky Boys Humhama handed their opponents FCC Wadwan a thrashing, winning the game by a massive margin of 111 runs. Batting first Lucky Boys posted a decent score of 166 in the stipulated 18 overs. Syed Sagar was the substantial scorer making a solid 41. FCC Wadwan were blown out by Lucky Boys bowlers, getting shot out for a nothing 55. Sagar was pick of the bowlers. He was given man of the match award.
The 2nd game of the day saw Kirmani XI lock horns against SCC Chadoora which former won comfortably. Batting first SCC Chadoora put a competitive total of 142 in the allotted 18 overs. Kirmani XI didnt have sweat much rounding off the target quite comfortably. Faizan was the architect of the successful chase, making a solid 66.
