Bandipora: Five persons were booked under Public Safety Act (PSA) in Hajin area of north Kashmirs Bandipora district on Saturday.
All these persons were accused of working as over ground workers (OGWs) for a militant outfit, said an official.
He said that Bashir Ahmad Mir, son of Abdul Ahad Mir, resident of Paribal Hajin; Muhammad Younis Bhat, son of Sunaullah Bhat; Shabir Ahmad Dar, son of Abdul Majeed Dar, both residents of Chandergair Hajin; Hilal Ahmad Parrey, son of Ghulam Ahmad, resident of Kochak-Mohalla Hajin and Sunaullah Dar, son of Ghulam Ahmad, resident of Gund Jahengeer Hajin have been booked under the PSA.
They said that all the five persons have been sent to Kotbalwal jail in Jammu.
Police had on June 2 claimed to have busted Lashkar-e-Toiba module by arresting five alleged Over Ground Workers (OGWs) in Hajin.
