SrinagarThousands of devotees throng Charar-i-Sharief shrine to offer prayers on the Jumat-ul-Vida, last Friday of the holy month of Ramzan on Friday
Special prayers were offered for the peace and prosperity of Kashmir.
Meanwhile Chairman JKLF addressed the mamoth congregration, highlighting the Kashmir movement and the sacrfices laid down by the innocent youth. Malik in his speech said “Since the Modi government has come into power at the Centre, the jammu and Kahsmir has been facing immence problems due to the selective approach and hinduvta idealogy, he said. RSS and other agencies are hell bent to disturb the peace of the Kashmir, he said.
Malik said that the people should shun the dirty politics. Those who are involved in killing our youth shouldnt be welcomed, he said. He later prayed for the peace and freedom of Kashmir and Palestine.People raised anti India and freedom slogans and were disperse peacefully.
