Srinagar: A court here on Wednesday recorded statement of two FSL doctors in connection with the murder of British national Sara Elizabeth Rose, who was alleged killed by a Dutchman in 2013.
The court recorded statement of Dr. Shah Mommer and Dr. Nahida Ali who conducted autopsy on Saras body.
Dr. Mammer deposed that autopsy started at 11:30am on 06 April 2013 and a sample from organ was send to Pathology department Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) to rule out any poisoning.
He further deposed that the cause of the death according to FSL report was stabbing.
Citing FSL report, Dr. Nahida deposed that Sara was not raped as there was no semen present inside the uterus.
Meanwhile, the accused DutchmanRichard de Wit alleged that jail authorities were meeting harsh treatment and accused them of poisoning him several times.
I was poisoned several times because I am complaining against them. They put me in solidarity confinement several times, he said.
British tourist Sara Elizabeth Rose was found dead on a houseboat in Dal Lake on April 6, 2013. As per the charge sheet filed by police, De Wit murdered fellow traveller Elizabeth Rose inside the houseboat where the two were staying and he fled from the scene.
De Wit was detained by police after he fled from the houseboat on Dal Lake, without his footwear or luggage and carrying just a passport. He was intercepted in a taxi in the town of Qazigund.
De Wit pleaded his case himself because as per him he doesnt trust any lawyer in Kashmir.
He has pleaded before the court that he was innocent and has not murdered the British woman.
