SrinagarThe martyrdom anniversary of Hazrat Imam Ali (AS) was observed with religious reverence across Kashmir and processions were taken out on the occasion in the city and elsewhere.
The three day ceremonies which began on 19th of Ramazan culminated on Saturday with major processions in Zadibal, Hassanabad and Mirgund areas. Hundreds of people also visited Dargah Hazratbal to mark the occasion.
Procession at Zadibal was organised by Shia Association, while at Hassanabad it was Anjuman-e-Sharie and Ittehadul Muslimeen took put procession in Mirgund area.
