Anantnag: The Chairman of Ummat e Islami Qazi Ahmed Yasir who has announced a grand rally from Islamabad’s Jamia Masjid on Friday has gone into hiding. The police raided the houses of UeI members who have been evading arrest for sometime now. Mirwaiz Yasir has declared a complete shutdown on the 19th of June, 2017 to remember slain Mirwaiz Dr. Qazi Nisar and all those who have sacrificed their lives for the Kashmir cause.
Mirwaiz Yasir will also lead protest marches from Kulgam and Shopian to demand the release of Sarjan Barkati, Sajad Hashmi and other political prisoners.
