TralThe devastating hailstorms once again left behind a trail of destruction, levelling crops and destroying fruits on Monday late evening in different areas of South Kashmirs Tral Sub division.
Local witnesses said that the hailstorm on Monday evening left behind a trail of destruction in Kangloora, Wazil-Kulnad, Nagapathri , Owrigund and other areas of Tral by destroying crops, vegetables and fruits there.
“40 minute hailstorm create panic among us as we were not able to move due to its high speed, which destroyed everything here ” said Ishfaq Ahmad a resident of Owrigund while talking to Kashmir Observer.
The victims have requested authorities to immediately assess the quantum of loss caused to the crops, vegetables and fruits in the area and demanded relief from the government.
