SrinagarZaira Wasim, a Kashmiri actor who was seen in Aamir Khans blockbuster movie Dangal, was miraculously rescued by locals after the car she was traveling in fell into the Dal Lake on Thursday night.
Eyewitnesses said a white Scorpio (JK01AB-0819) in which Zaira was travelling went out of the drivers control on the Boulevard and it fell into the Dal Lake at around 9 PM.

According to a reports, the car belonged to a local politician. News reports said Zaira was in the vehicle along with her friend Arif Ahmad who is son of a ruling PDP leader.
Arif suffered multiple injuries, said a local, who identified himself as Mudasir Bashir, added the report.
The vehicle was moving at a high speed and the driver lost control over it.
16-year-old Zaira rose to fame with her portrayal of the younger version of wrestler Geeta Phogat in Aamir Khans blockbuster “Dangal.” Earlier in January Zaira was trolled on Facebook and Twitter after she met Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti.
Zaira, who won the National Award for Best Supporting Female Actor for her performance in the movie, later apologized for meeting the Chief Minister.
Zaira will next be seen with Aamir Khan again in Secret Superstar.
The teaser of the film had released in December last year, and it told the tale of a girl, who aspires to be a singer, but her father staunchly disagrees with her and does not allow her to pursue her dreams. So much so, he goes on to rip off the strings of his guitar. Despite all the hindrance, she relies on social media get close to her dreams.
